About Benjamin Davol

A graduate of Drew University, Benjamin Davol has been politically active as a writer, lobbyist, and most notably, as an accomplished campaign manager for numerous local, state, and federal political campaigns.
From 1995 to 2004, Benjamin Davol operated Davol Communications, a consulting firm that offered services to political campaigns, as well as private sector companies. As a Republican Organizer, Benjamin Davol managed John McCain’s Presidential Campaign efforts in 2000. Benjamin Davol has also served as a successful lobbyist, functioning as Health Care Reform Task Force Director for the National Association of Chain drug Stores. In this capacity, Benjamin Davol was responsible for lobbying efforts across the country, working for reforms to pharmacy regulations, the ERISA, and drug-related taxes.

No longer affiliated with a political party, Benjamin Davol remains devoted to political causes in his capacity as a writer, with his work frequently appearing in various news outlets, such as theday.com, NPR, WTIC-AM, WDRC-AM and numerous other radio and television outlets. Benjamin Davol also maintains several political blogs, commenting on diverse issues from local election matters to health care reform, such as tideusa.blogspot.com.

Benjamin Davol began his career as a Sales Professional in 2004, working as Sales Director for Stinger Systems, Inc. In 2006, Benjamin Davol took the position of Senior Sales Professional with sanofi-aventis U.S. LLC. Operating out of Northern Connecticut, sanofi-aventis markets diabetic medication, such as Lantus(R), Apidra(R), and Ambien CR(R), to clinicians in the region. Benjamin Davol was responsible for coordinating sales presentations and managing certified diabetic and clinical educators. Currently, Benjamin Davol is employed as a Clinical Sales Consultant for Phadia, US Inc., working to market allergy diagnosis aids based on the company’s cutting-edge ImmunoCAP technology.

A resident of Farmington, Connecticut, Benjamin Davol maintains membership with USRowing, the United States Tennis Association, and the Suffield Academy Alumni Association. When not writing about politics or healthcare concerns, Benjamin Davol remains active with various athletic pursuits, including tennis, rowing, mountain biking, and skiing.
